With its dome-shaped towers overlooking the city the gothic cathedral „Zu unserer Lieben Frau" is an unmistakable landmark of Munich. In the course of re-designing the vestry performed by architects Braun & Partner, a elevator was installed in the staircase, corresponding to the grace and style of the monument. In the oval stair well, which offers only little space, the half-transparent steel-mesh cover of the elevator fits discreetly in the historical environment.
